Great place for a family or couples holiday, lots to do in the hotel for kids and there's a spa for the adults, indoor bowling, two pools (quite and noisy pools) and a happy atmosphere makes this the best holiday hotel on the island. Plenty to do in the town by the beach with water sports, bars, restaurants and a bit of shopping, handy buses can take you further afield. We took a trip to Palmitos Park and a Buggy Safari , both great fun and value.

My husband and I have been lucky enough to stay here twice and really love it. We don't normally go back to the same place again but Puerto Mogan is such a pleasant and relaxing place to be. The Cordial Mogan Valle apartments are lovely and staff are really friendly. On our last visit we had requested a room away from the building site and they we happy to do this for us unfortunately we were put by the children's pool. As we did not take any children with us as it got quite noisy we asked if we could move. The staff on reception were great and moved us the next day, we had a fab apartment and a fab holiday and have just booked our return holiday and can't wait. Well done to all the staff who made us feel so welcome.

Have stayed twice now and really enjoy the town. Stayed in self-catering apartment. Good size, spacious balcony. Adequate kitchen but not for cooking full-on meals. Very comfortable bed and apartment. Several pools.

Very enjoyable stay with a young family. Hotel facilities were great, the splash park specifically for our toddler, it was lots of fun for him along with the soft play area and kids club. We didn't really eat or drink in the bar very much as we were self catering but the odd meal we did have was nice. Great SPA facilities, though the gym wasn't really up to much. The reception and other staff were really friendly and welcoming and helpful. We are returning again next January and am sure we will have an excellent stay once again.

We visited Cordial Mogan Playa with my 22 month old and our in laws. Everyone really enjoyed the holiday, due to the location in Mogan, the beautiful hotel, and how easy it was to really relax.

We stayed in one of the more expensive rooms, were automatically given neighbouring rooms with an adjoining garden, and the rooms were well presented and serviced. The turndown in the evening was a nice touch, especially as my daughters cot was always turned down too and her teddies tucked in!

The food and service in the restaurants could not be faulted, the variety was good even for a vegetarian and there was always plenty. The hotel was only a short walk to the beach, but the quality of the pools meant there was almost no reason to leave the hotel, with shallow and deeper parts to suit everyone, and even sandy areas for children to play in. We visited at the end of the school holidays, but the pool area was never too busy to be able to find a space for everyone and relax.

The most memorable part of the hotel was the beautiful grounds, it was like staying in a botanical gardens with a hotel in the middle!

Have been staying at this resort over the last 3 years and try and get back every 10 weeks for so. The bungalows are more than adequate and having everything if your staying on a self catering basis the cleaning staff keep them immaculate. The pools and gardens are cleaned and tended to daily and a real treat. You can always get a sun bed and if you enjoy a relaxing time in glorious sunshine this is a definite contender. You are close enough to walk to Playa de Ingles and Melanoras (which has nice shopping and fancy restaurants) to walk in and the resort has a small shop on site which is handy if you don't wish to do a big shop. The reception staff are always happy to sort out hire cars or bikes and although very friendly are always professional. Iv stayed at countless 5 star hotels and resorts and honestly wouldn't give up coming to this island and the resort.

There are lots of good things to be said about our hotel but the outstanding thing was the manager Ulises Mesa and his helpful smiling staff. We always felt as if we mattered and nothing was too much trouble and this was reflected in the restaurant as well where the staff were quick efficient and happy. The rooms are great and roomy with super balconies and well equipped. Great pools with universal depths good for kids and non swimmers and plenty of loungers and a special quiet pool and although at first confusing,the walkways to the apartments have some wonderful tropical plants and trees. The food was very good,varied and plentiful and the allotted dinner dining times meant there were no queues. (Plate warmers would have been an asset)

This is an ideal hotel for couples with young children as it has facilities especially for them but it's also good for couples as the promenade and marina have wonderful shops and restaurants etc for an evening stroll.

This was our third stay at Cordial Mogan Playa this time we stayed in a junior suite which was spacious with lounge ,bedroom,patio and garden. A bathroom with walk in shower which was necessary as I have a mobility problem.The reception staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them.Cleanliness was superb with towels being changed twice a day the bed turned down at night with bars of chocolate left on the bed! We could not find any thing whatsoever that was not just so,everything was perfect. We shall be returning next year for more pampering!

Had a wonderful stay here. All the staff were great with lots to do for the kids.

Rooms could do with an upgrade but we're very spacious and well equipped.

Stayed for a week at Riviera Vista, asked for a top floor room in a quiet part of the hotel and got exactly that. Room was very nice, well equipped and spotlessly clean, as was the rest of the hotel. The staff were in the main very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast buffet was extensive, however the food that was supposed to be hot was invariably cold but there was plenty of choice of other things. Dinner was very good when they offered freshly cooked choices from the set menu, however they changed this to buffet style on Friday and Saturday as the hotel was busier. What a disaster, nice food but as per breakfast completely cold, they need to do better if they are going to continue with the buffet theme. The hotel was not busy apart from Friday and Saturday when lots of Spanish came to the coast for the weekend and they did seem to cater more for the Spanish, German and Scandinavian clients and just seemed to tolerate clients from the UK. Also there was no bar which gave the hotel no focal point and very little ambience or atmosphere. They also really need to do something about car parking, very limited and the road surface was awful even right in front of the hotel. Finally when we asked for a late checkout, even though there were maybe only 20 people in the whole place we were told no chance as they were too busy, really??? All in all a pleasant stay but could have been better.

No complaint with any aspect of the holiday.

Everything was fantastic at the resort. I can't comment on the Food & Beverages as we did not eat or drink at the resort. The facilities are great and the apartments very clean and well equipped. The balcony was very spacious and the living area was large. We haven't really "done" self catering before, but given this experience, we will be doing more in the future.

The village of Puerto de Mogan was by far the prettiest place we saw on the coast. If you're looking for nightlife, don't go. If you're looking for an attractive village, go. Plenty of places to eat and drink. Go inland to find the real Gran Canaria

This is our second stay at Cordial Mogan Playa and we were not disappointed. The rooms (same as our previous stay) were well equipped, spacious and spotless, clearly cleaned daily. All staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and go the extra mile to ensure a pleasant and restful stay. The food is excellent, fresh, hot and plentiful, again, service very efficient and friendly.

The hotel itself is perfectly situated near the harbour, with local sights only a short walk away. I have highly recommended this hotel to my friends and family!

We booked in as a group of seven, and the hotel fulfilled our request for rooms on the same floor and near each other. The location is wonderful, the beach is a pleasant walk and the quiet pool always had plenty of sunbeds available.

We enjoyed some breakfasts in the hotel which offer a good choice of food.

Above all, the price for our stay was very reasonable for the high standard of room and service.
