Fabulous place in beautiful setting , everything is fine except for one very important thing -AIR CONDITIONING - this is very limited in the bungalows but even after requesting it many times over the year that we booked , when we arrived we were allocated a bungalow without it - the worst thing being that people were in the bungalows that had it fitted and did not want it !! All the controls were sat in reception unused ! We wanted it , were willing to pay for it but couldn't have it ! Surely it would not take a genius to shuffle the diary to allocate what people want and don't want . This spoiled our holiday until the manager was able to move us part way through to an air conditioned bungalow . A little bit of flexible planning of room bookings would work wonders .

My wife and I have stayed here on several occasions and find the whole experience to be outstanding.

The level of service from the time you step through the front door to when it's time to leave is of a very high standard. We had a little hic-up with our junior suite when we arrived last time and within a matter of minutes the issue was resolved and we were back enjoying our holiday once more.

The rooms are very well appointed, housekeeping is at a very high level with cleanliness being high on the staffs agenda! How pleasant when the staff speak to you when you pass them in a corridor or passageway? Not just ignored as part of the furnishings but respected as a guest who they wish enjoys their time in their hotel.

There are quiet places both inside and out where you can sit and read or take in the surroundings. Lots of space around the pools to take up position on a lounger to catch the sunshine or, if like me, under an umbrella to feel the suns heat, but stay out it's rays!

A walk down to the harbour to watch the fishing boats about their business, or stroll around the many shops in the village, to pick up a bargain or two.

Breakfast greets you with fresh fruit, fruit juices, breads, pastries, cereals, cold meats, cheese, and a selection of cooked items that is impossible to ignore!

At lunchtime there is a choice of venues, offering items from a sandwich to a much more substantial menu of hot and cold dishes.

Dinner is again a feast of choice, and never an evening when you can't find a delicious dish to enjoy. Crisp tablecloths and friendly service yet again from helpful staff willing to please.

All in all a holiday here is hard to beat, and the only downside that we can ever find, is the disappointment that our time here has passed and it's time to pack up and leave for home!

This is a wonderful hotel for family vacations, especially if you just wish to get away and relax. Can't fault the hotel at all - staff exceptionally good, food reasonable with plenty of selection. The pool area is really lovely with the lunchtime bar area nearby. At night it's nice to eat and then sit in one of the bar areas chatting and passing the evening. My only fault of this hotel would be the immediate area outside of the hotel. It desperately needs revamping and shops and cafes built to enjoy being away from the hotel at times. If you take a 10/15 minute walk to the nearby harbor it's really nice, however, once you have done this a couple of times you have seen it all.

As good as ever! Staff are simply the best, from Reception, to Bar staff, waiters, cleaners, the repair man. Everything is done to make your stay as pleasant as possible. We brought our daughter's boyfriends for the first time this year. They loved it too! Thank you Cordial, you are a class act!

My wife, 18 year old son and I stayed at the Golf Plaza as it was convenient for Amarilla Golf where my parents lived. Sadly, we were there for my father's funeral but my sister and her family had stayed there in the previous June and recommended it to us. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the Golf Plaza. We stayed in a two bedroom family apartment which was much bigger than I expected and was equipped with a small kitchen which is perfect for a holiday. Although I didn't use the pool this time my sister was very happy with it and with the standard of the accommodation as a whole. If you are looking for a good quality, highly cost effective place to stay which is in easy reach of local restaurants and bars then the Golf Plaza could be the place for you.

We stayed over the new year period and had a fab time. The staff went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed ourselves. New years eve was particularly special. We have visited Puerto Mogan many times as we love the resort. We plan to return for next new year and possibly before!!

I Love this resort, the facilities are very good, the rooms are excellent. The swimming pools are the same, we have stayed there twice and recommended it to friends and family.

We took our parents this time and they loved everything about the hotel, location and holiday. This was around our 14th stay! We just enjoy the Hotel and its surroundings.

Overall everything was excellent. Good, clean facilities, good food and helpful staff. I have already re-booked!

This was our second holiday at the Golf Plaza. We had a most enjoyable stay last year and were intending returning this year, but have decided against after seeing the latest price for the very same holiday which is £750 more expensive which seems a rather large increase, therefore we will be looking elsewhere for our holiday this year.

We enjoyed our second Christmas and new year spent at the cordial in Mogan, We love the hotel, the gardens and the position, just a stroll the the beach and harbor. We had perfect weather. We find the staff at the hotel so friendly and helpful, we find the choice of food fantastic. We can't wait to return to the hotel, hopefully later in the year. Have loads of great photos but, need to learn how to transfer them to email!!

Lovely complex. Tastefully decorated and furnished apartment. Large balcony with sun loungers and table & chairs. Nice stroll to marina where there is a selection of good restaurants. We were self catering and there is a large supermarket just across the road from the complex. Very good selection of everything that you would need. Would definitely return.
