Cordial Resort Holiday Reviews

Excellent hotel, very good and attentive staff and a fantastic set of facilities. We particularly enjoyed the main hotel bar and, of course, the Los Guayres restaurant.

One little problem was the bugs in the room, tiny critters which we've seen around elsewhere and are seemingly harmless, and aren't around at all until there's something for them to eat. But you can't leave a used glass out too long before they're all over it. Makes room service a bit of a problem when plates aren't taken away.

Otherwise the rooms, service and everything was wonderful. In a family or on a budget, I'd tend to choose the Valle apartments, but for a romantic and/or luxurious trip, this hotel is marvellous.

We have just returned from a wonderful week at the Cordial Mogan Valle apartments. We traveled as a family group of 11 ranging in age from 5-86 years and we all absolutely loved the hotel and the resort.

The scenary is lovely. We stayed in room 242 and were happy with our room which came with a kitchen with coffee machine, kettle, microwave etc. There is a TV in lounge and bedroom with English speaking channels. The terrace was the best thing about the apartment, it's huge! It has artificial grass, an outside shower, 2 sunloungers and a table and chairs overlooking the splash park and the adjacent Cordial Mogan Plays which is pretty to look at. Only downside is no air conditioning, they do have ceiling fans.

The 3 pools, a quiet pool, main pool and splash park are lovely and clean and there is a lifeguard on duty who also removes towels if sunbeds are reserved and not used.

Food was good and varied. We were half board and were able to swap dinners to lunch daily if we wanted (just need to inform reception).

The resort is pretty and quiet. You can walk to the beach, harbour, shops and restaurants in 15 minutes via a pedestrianised walkway.

The staff at the hotel are amazing and always happy to help. They even have lovely courtesy facilities to use for the day you leave, showers,towels, tv, lockers etc. They really do try and think of everything.

We loved the hotel and resort. If you can please a group of 11 aged between 5-86yrs you must be doing something well. Thank you Cordial Mogan Valle apartments.

Excellent hotel, great staff, clean rooms with nice pools and gardens. Food choice is great. Very relaxing and enjoyable place to stay and it's only a short walk to the beach and waterfront restaurants for a change of scene.

And I do mean everything for everyone!

The hotel is set on a narrow plain between two rocky hill ranges

Very original and attractive design, set in very beautiful gardens, superbly stocked with some 450 tropical trees and plants, kept in lovely condition.

All staff are extremely helpful and friendly, literally welcoming us with open arms!

It even has its own Chapel!

And a miniclub for children.

And a spa for adults

The port area is close by and very attractive, known as Little Venice, a short walk from the hotel . Several good restaurants there

My 3rd stay (for a month) was not as pleasurable as the other 2, the "Quite Pool" almost always had noisy children in it, the "Garden pool" was worse. The signs by both pools saying "no diving or airbeds" was ignored, the attendants at both pools looked on and did nothing. There is a large "Children's" pool area, this should be used by parents with children. I will think very seriously about whether I shall return due solely to this reason. There is sufficient space to have children enjoy their holiday without ruining that of other guests. At the very least the "Quite Pool" should be respected and the attendants should make sure of this. I know one pool was being repaired for a few days and that the children had to use the other pools but it ended up a takeover. Family holidays with children should be enjoyed but not to the point of forcing away guests who want to enjoy the peace they have come here for. All guests should be able to have an enjoyable stay at this lovely place.

Fantastic holiday. This is our second visit and we're looking forward to returning next year. Facilities are perfect if travelling with toddlers and young children.

Apartments are a really good size balconies are huge with out door shower and artificial grass a nice touch .

There are a lot of lifts to apartments with good views but reliable and well maintained .

I think if they invested in air con it would be so much more comfortable but on the whole a really good base

I hate to rave about this place as we want to come back again and again. Our kids love it and pester us to come back.

Regular visitor to Mogan and Cordial Valle - we love it and although May is considered low season and some of thr restaurants close for part of this period there are plenty to choose from or just dine in Cordial Valle with BBQs provided every Moday and Thursday as well as a full dining room service. Would recommend to any age group as good value for money.

Very good location for playing golf, accommodation fine but could do with air conditioning. food was just OK and I don't think I would choose half board, just go for B&B or self catering. not much to do around the accommodation so need to take taxis to other areas for a bit of night life. Overall really enjoyed the holiday and the golf.

This was our third visit to these apartments and it was like coming home.

The apartment we had was lovely and looked like it had been decorated. Had everything you needed and I love the large balconies and outdoor shower. We had a problem with no freezer door and told reception, by time we had breakfast and went back to the apartment it was fixed.

All the staff are very approachable and helpful and so friendly, I hadn't been here for three years but it was just as I remembered and I won't leave it so long next time.

Love everything about it. We went for a meal next door and that was amazing.

This was are 4th visit and after having a year off last year it was great to be back

This was our third visit to these apartments. Each time we have had first timers with us and nobody has been disappointed with their stay. I love the space these self catering apartments provide. We had 3 two bedroom apartments each have spacious bedrooms with a large living room with kitchen facilities and dining table. There is also a very large balcony with 4 sun loungers and a large table with chairs for eating at (or drinking). A large supermarket is a 2 minute walk away so very handy. I requested that the rooms be close together, 2 were next to each other and the 3rd just a few doors along which was great.

There are 3 pools and also a splash zone for the children which was loved by the 3 children we had in our party of 12.

We travelled by bus and boat into Puerto Rico a couple of times which was a lovely way to travel with fantastic views along the coast. We also got off the bus at amadores and walked the 1km coastal path into Puerto Rico which is also lovely.

Puerto de Mogan itself is a really pretty laid back resort and only a 10 minute dawdle from that apartment's. There are lots of lovely places to eat or just to have a drink and watch the world go by.

We all loved it here and will definitely return.

Myself and my husband came out for a chilled out holiday....loved the place...so much so that we are going back with our son in August...
