The gastronomy display at The Cordial Mogan Playa Hotel is extremely impressive. Guests can choose to take advantage of the hotel's fabulous full board dining options which includes a package of selected beer, wines and soft drinks for lunchtime and evening meals, allowing you to make the most of your holiday.
The hotels main restaurant, Tamarona, offers dining for breakfast and dinner meals, where a wonderful spread of food is on offer. The restaurant is grandly furnished and provides hotel guests with the choice of two sittings for dinner, at either 1800 or 2000 hours. Guests can dine indoors or choose a table in the covered patio areas which are built over flowing water and views of cascading water from waterfalls, creating a truly amazing dining experience.
Breakfast consists of a choice of juice, pasties, cheese, meats, fruit, fresh omelettes and of course a full English breakfast option to set you up for a day in the sunshine. Alternatively, wine and dine by starting the day with indulging in smoked salmon and champagne!!!
Dinner is a grand affair with two show cooking stations, one for meat and the other for fish accompanied by fresh vegetables. Dining establishments also offer other vegetarian options which include a selection of foods such as of cheeses, cold meats and to end with some wonderful ice cream. In fact, there is so much choice you could work your way through a six course meal.
Guests staying in the Junior suites are offered an exclusive dining option in the Sama restaurant which is easily accessible and within arm’s length of these units. The restaurant spreads outwards with an outdoor dining area which looks out to the hotels striking fauna, palm trees and mountains. Guests will find the breakfast menu in the Sama restaurant is just as generous as in the main restaurant but as the Sama is a lot smaller than the main restaurant the ambiance is less hurried. In the afternoon the Sama restaurant offers a very nice buffet lunch for 13€ or a salad for 4.50€ and drinks for the pool can also be purchased during the daytime.
Half board plus guests have free wine, draught beer, water, soft drinks, tea and coffee with dinner and Full Board plus guests have the same service with both lunch and dinner.
Cordial Mogan Playa Hotel also offers a superb a la carte restaurant called Los Guayres which is open from Tuesday to Saturday with a mouth-watering menu to cleanse the palate. This glorious first-class restaurant is run by the renowned Canarian Chef Alexis Alvarez who is a member of the Chaine des Rotisseurs. The diner focus’ heavily on offering exquisite Canarian cuisine with a mixture of new and traditional recipes. A popular dish not to be missed is the tender rabbit with garlic vegetables to start and guests on half board can benefit further from dining at this restaurant, as they will recieve 15euro discount per person on their bill. Los Guayres is an extremely exclusive restaurant with only 15 tables, so pre booking on arrival is advised.
