Maspalomas is a popular holiday resort on the southern tip of Gran Canaria, adjacent to the island's largest and most hectic package-tour resort, Playa del Ingles. Maspalomas though, is the quieter and more upmarket option sporting the best four-mile (6km) stretch of golden, sandy beach on the island. Maspalomas is separated from Playa del Ingles by a spectacular undulating sea of sand dunes, a protected area that provide a habitat for some rare species of flora and fauna. There is plenty to see and do in the surrounding area of Maspalomas, as well as fantastic transport links out to the surrounding area which offer an extensive selection of bars, restaurants daily activities and beaches.

Covering a surface of 320.000 sq. meters, this park is a replica of a Wild West town with its typical houses, a church, a ranch, a bank and a saloon. And of course, where you see cowboys there also must be Indians… So don't miss the Indian reservation! For the kiddies (as if that wasn't already enough) there is a small zoo with some cute animals.

Aqua Park, Puerto Rico
Famed for its numerous bathing facilities, Puerto Rico enjoys an unrivalled popularity amongst families with children. Aqua Park, located behind the commercial shopping center, offers several slides and different pools, as well as a kindergarten and a restaurant with very good value for money. All in all, great fun for the whole family for a day away from the beach

Palmitos Park
Gran Canaria's most popular family attraction, Palmitos Park, is a subtropical oasis in a verdant valley of palm trees, featuring more than 200 species of birds, including the tiny hummingbirds, toucans, peacocks, hornbills, cranes, flamingos and macaws, among other attractions such as an aquarium, a butterfly house, a cacti garden, an orchid house…the list goes on.
